Rather than standing idly by while our elected officials spend our future dollars on government waste, useless programs and meaningless initiatives, we are making a stand. We refuse to fall into the trap of progressivism that promises money, opportunity, and “security” all in exchange for our loyalty and votes. We are independent young people, and we cannot be bribed by progressive politicians and activists that beg us to mortgage our future so that they can spend well beyond their budget today.

Zach Young
Chairman
Zach Young is a life long Alaska with strong roots in conservative politics. He enjoys being involved with political activism all over Alaska. As the president of the Anchorage Young Republicans, his goal is to increase the reach of the group through both word of mouth and social media, to grow membership, and increase our groups perception of professionalism and creditability, through means like this website, local events, and activism. As a local Anchorage Realtor, he knows the town like the back of his hand. When not working or furthering Young Republicans, he enjoys fishing, hiking, and spending time outside.
Nate James
National Committee Man
Nathan grew up on Kodiak Island, Alaska. As a sport and wildlife lover, pouring into the next generation of Alaskans is his passion. He works as a financial advisor and wealth manager at New York Life. Outside of the office, he shares time with his family at sea or the all field. Ensuring conservative values stay intact has remained important to Nathan despite the challenge it presents.

Vice President
Nate Salima is an active and involved Republican and a lifelong resident of Anchorage. With a strong background in tech and software Nate brings tremendous technical knowledge and strategy to the group. When not working or engaging in politics, he spends much of his time outside, working on real estate projects, and enjoying his free time.
